Utilities
These mods are utilities which can enhance your gameplay, such as displaying your DPS and skill uptimes or exporting your talismans for use with the armor set search.
This section is fully optional. Feel free to install any, all or none of these mods based on your preferences.
MHWilds Overlay
Visual overlay showing monster HP bars, partbreak thresholds, hitzones as well as player’s damage stats, and skill uptimes. Highly customizable in the Script UI of REFramework.
The “Report” feature is extremely useful for determining your skill uptimes (e.g. “Agitator was active for 75% of my damage dealt last hunt.”). You can plug those uptime percentages into Math Hunter to see how much effective damage you’re actually getting out of your skills, so you can optimize your builds.
Some functions (such as the monster HP bars) are arguably a cheat, so use your discretion and disable modules as you see fit.
If you use the DPS tracker in multiplayer, never be rude to other players based on that information. Not only is it uncool, but the numbers for everyone besides the host are usually inaccurate anyway due to netcode idiosyncracies.
Talisman Exporter
Exports your talisman (charm) data to a text file you can import into the Armor Set Search to find the most optimal armor sets utilizing your talismans.
Export Talismans from RE Framework Script UI
In the REFramework menu, go to Script UI -> Talisman Exporter - > Export Talismans.
Find the exported talismans.txt file
In Steam, right-click Monster Hunter Wilds, select “Manage” -> “Browse local files” to open the game directory. Inside the opened folder, navigate to
/reframework/data/Talisman_Exporter, then open the file Exported_Talismans.txt with a text editor and copy its contents to your clipboard.
Import Talismans into Armor Set Search
Paste and import the copied talisman data into the Armor Set Search ; Talismans tab. Now the armor set search will include your talismans in its calculations.
